Within the ATRIX Group, the ATR ingénierie brand provides expertise in the fields of mechanics, special machines, processes, risk management and the environment. The expertise acquired in risk management in the nuclear sector gives the group total autonomy to carry out its design missions in concert with the associated risk analyses. In addition to its design work, ATR ingénierie has built up considerable expertise in monitoring the manufacture of specific equipment, and in orchestrating complex worksites.

The references acquired over 25 years in the nuclear sector quickly opened up opportunities for diversification in various high-risk industries.
The story

Founded in 1995, ATR ingénierie carried out its first projects in the nuclear sector, mainly in the field of radioactive waste and effluent management. It is developing its activities in the field of engineering for nuclear facilities in operation and for major nuclear waste storage and disposal projects.

Acknowledged for its expertise in waste management and nuclear safety,ATR ingénierie ‘s referrals to major contractors, backed up by the sector’s essential certifications and accreditations, have been expanding since 1998.

More and more industrial equipment design services are being provided on a contractual basis, in the form of project management or prime contracting. The expertise we have acquired in risk management in the nuclear sector is also opening up opportunities for diversification into high-risk industries, notably defense, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetology…

The renewed confidence of the company’s main customers has enabled it to record an order backlog of several years’ sales, thanks to major project management contracts and various multi-year framework contracts.

With the signing of a major 7-year engineering contract for CEA DAM, ATR strengthens its presence at the Valduc site.

Mechanics and Thermohydraulics EDF
ATR strengthens its long-standing strategic partnership with EDF by signing a new 10-year framework contract with the DIPNN technical department for mechanical and thermal-hydraulic expertise.

BPI - Nuclear Business Development Fund (FDEN)
As part of a new shareholder reorganization and the creation of the ATRIX brand, ATR Ingénierie is now part of the newly named ATRIX Group. Alongside Société Générale Capital Partenaires, the Banque Publique d'Investissement confirms its confidence in the group through a new investment supported by the Fond de Développement des Entreprises du Secteur Nucléaire (FDEN).

CIGEO safety
As the GAIYA Group's safety partner for the CIGEO project, ATR is responsible, for the duration of the contract, for nuclear mechanics studies in the feasibility phase (handling, closure, control of storage packages) and for drafting all the notes supporting the Dossier d'Option de Sûreté (DOS), then those enabling consolidation of the Demande d'Autorisation de Création (DAC) - SLI, SDF, FOH, risk analyses for falls, earthquakes, radiation protection, explosions, criticality, etc.

ANDRA Safety
Working in close collaboration with ANDRA's safety teams, ATR carries out a large number of models designed to analyze the behavior of storage packages in accident situations (falls, fire, hydrogen explosion, radiation protection).

In the same year, ATR signs two major contracts for complete project management for radioactive waste storage facilities (CEA and EDF), consolidating an order book representing several years' sales.
